Il d\u00e9finit le yoga comme une discipline visant \u00e0 stabiliser et \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler les mouvements de l&#8217;esprit pour atteindre un \u00e9tat de clart\u00e9 et de tranquillit\u00e9 int\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En sanskrit, le mot &#8220;yoga&#8221; signifie &#8220;union&#8221; (&#8220;yuj&#8221;), faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019union entre notre conscience individuelle et la conscience universelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le yoga vise \u00e0 \u00e9quilibrer le corps, l\u2019esprit et les \u00e9motions gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 diverses techniques, et pas seulement \u00e0 travers les postures (asanas). Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une pratique qui encourage la pleine conscience. En vous concentrant sur vos mouvements, votre respiration et votre \u00e9tat \u00e9motionnel, le yoga vous permet de d\u00e9velopper une conscience accrue de votre corps et de votre esprit. Cette attention port\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019instant pr\u00e9sent peut aider \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le stress, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la concentration, et \u00e0 favoriser un sentiment de paix int\u00e9rieure.
